Mabie cafe had nice bacon butties but now it’s shut.

Ae has a chemical toilet and the omega man’s cool.

Dalbeattie is more of a challenge than the above trails.

Kirroughtree – Swoopy, big day out, with mcMoab. Must do.
Mabie – short, fun, berms, little rooty at the end, easiest of these trails
Ae – I hate it. Big time.
Glentrool – never been. Thought it was family oriented trails though.
Dalbeattie – awesome, rocky, proper rocky, qualifier, slab, twins all good fun. Tough for a red. Lots of fire road, but lots of singletrack. 2nd best Stane.

You missed Drumlanring, the secret stane. Rooty, natural, and a castle. Tiptop.

Mabie a let-down. First half fun. Second felt like Hampshire.

Newcastleton’s highlight is a 24/7 changing room. Not challenging by any means and more of a quick blast but it has its place. I like the loneliness of the place if you know what I mean. There’s never anyone there !!!

    Mabie cafe re-opened
Ae cafe under new management, has cafe, bike shop with limited spares, showers and the 30 or so riders out last night all seemed to enjoy it 😆
    This young chaps family

Cafe at Dalbeattie now as well as toilets….
