    thinking of converting my 9 speed slx chainset by ditching the chainrings and replacing them for a 2×10 set up . who does 10 speed after market chain rings ? and can I keep my 9 speed front mech ? cheers

    I think you will need a different mech, narrower chain IIRC

    You don’t need rings or front mech, just chain, cassette, RH shifter, rear mech.

    sorry forgot to say I have 10 speed rech mech and chain etc ready to go on the bike but dont want to fork out on a new chainset
