I’ve got an Animal T shirt from 1993. It’s a wee bit tatty.
My in-laws are going through a phase of buying me Animal T-shirts every Christmas and birthday, which has lasted about 15 to 20 years. They’re indestructible.
Much the same here Mike, only its my sister in law who alternates between Animal & Weird Fish!
I’ve still got an Animal watch strap from the late eighties. It gets used regularly to hold the brake levers in on my Avid brakes when they go all mushy.
Think I won it at the Surftracks MTB races in Blandford!
I loved my glo-face AM001 watch, until the glow bit of it started to deteriorate and they were recalled.
Unfortunately the replacement wasn’t as hard wearing and Animal said they didn’t carry spares for it anymore, 2 years after I got it.
I’d forgotten I have one of those watches, too. Hard as nails, but it ate batteries and i got bored of replacing them. It’s in a drawer now.
My brother had one too. He was wearing it when he was knocked off his motorbike and slide rather a long way along the floor. The metal bezel was ground down quite badly but, amazingly, the glass face was completely unmarked.
