The Bahookie is our do-it-all mountain bike. Handbuilt steel frame designed around 29″ wheels and a 100mm travel fork. Perfect for bikepacking, adventure racing, flying round the trail centres, heading off for a long day in the hills or a quick blast round the woods after work.
Features include 44mm headtube for the latest generation of tapered mountain bike forks, dropper post compatible with internal stealth routing. 3 sets of bottle mounts and rack mounts make it the perfect adventure mountain bike.
For the ultimate in versatility, the Bahookie features the same drivetrain support platform as our Stoater allowing you options to run the following :
- Derailleur with triple or double crank
- 1 X 10
- Singlespeed
- Rohloff speedhub
This flexibility is achieved by fitting either an EBB (eccentric bottom bracket) or standard PF30 bottom bracket in the 73mm shell. The modular PolyDrop dropouts allow fitting of different inserts to suit different drivetrains. 135×10 Q/R dropouts come as standard, but we can supply 142×12 dropouts as a no cost option.
The Bahookie is also beltdrive ready (a neat spitter is concealed within the PolyDrop dropouts) if you want the ultimate in reliability and ease of maintenance.
The Bahookie is TIG welded from custom drawn Columbus Niobium tubing. As with all of our bikes, the frame is manufactured by us in our workshop in Central Scotland where we also paint and complete the final assembly.
