Tucked away on the Cannondale stand was their new tandem, now with 29″ wheels.
It’s looking like a bit of a toe in the water to gauge demand at this stage, with a fair amount of budget kit that’ll need replacing for serious off road use.
Although the sight of a DT Swiss 540 tandem hub looks promising.
The bike comes fitted with a 29er Fatty fork but the 1.5 headtube should make for a nice upgrade platform for some proper suspension fork action.
Cannondale reckon if there’s a demand they might just release something a bit more off road orientated. No UK price as yet.

Interesting, always fancied an MTB Tandem…
Ditto
Miss my old Mt3000. This looks promising..
I reckon Mrs Sandwich could be interested by this.
Pricing will be interesting – I’ve been thinking of a tandem for a while as well but it’s hard to justify a lot of dosh for something I wont’ ride that often.
*rse…. Mrs carbon has just told me to “do one”….
