Position: Web Developer
Where: Singletrack Magazine, Todmorden, West Yorkshire.

serves nearly half a million users and delivers 7.5 million pages every month. Singletrack Mountain Bike magazine is published 8 times a year and has won the title of Best UK Cycling Magazine for the last two years.

We are seeking a Web Developer to join our growing team and help develop our website (www.singletrackworld.com) to its full potential. You will be responsible for supporting features and users on the website, with a view to improving and implementing new features in the future. You should be enthusiastic about web design and technologies, with a keen eye for detail.

The job is full time and will be based at our Todmorden office.
The starting date for this post is June 2011 or earlier if possible.

Skills we are looking for

Essential: (Good understanding of)

  • WordPress – plugins and theming
  • PHP
  • HTML and CSS
  • JavaScript and jQuery

Desirable: (knowledge of)

  • bbPress & BuddyPress
  • MySQL
  • Apache
  • Linux
  • Objective C (mobile app development)
