Salsa Warroad Gets 2020 Update And UK Availability

by 4

The Salsa Warroad was reviewed previously by Tom Hill. This year’s model keeps the same frame, but you get new colours and new build kit options.

Salsa offers three different all-road bikes: the Warbird, the Warroad, and Cutthroat. The Warroad sits at the least gnarly end of the gravel spectrum – designed for those who spend more time on road than off it, but who still wants to grab the odd gravel mile. It’s designed to be agile, and comes in the smallest size (49cm) of all their all-road bikes.

Mmm, fade.

Despite its roadier proclivities, the Salsa Warroad will take 700×28-35mm or 650x47mm tyres. It has dynamo cable routing, space for full mudguards, and plenty of rack compatibility. Frames up to size 55cm have three bottle mounts, while the larger sizes have four. A top tube mount offers scope for more carrying in the form of Salsa’s EXP Series Top Tube Mount Bag.

Front hub spacing is 12x100mm, the rear is 12×142. The frame is compatible with 1x, 2x., AXS or Di2 set ups, flat mount brakes, and you can even put a dropper post on there.

There will be seven Salsa Warroad options available to UK customers, the distributor is Lyon:
