Fat Chance Launches Versatile US-Made Chris Cross

From the iconic US bicycle brand Fat Chance, comes the all-new Chris Cross – and boy is this one beautiful machine!
Pitched as a mixed-terrain machine that’ll cover everything from cyclocross racing through to casual weekend gravel grinding, the Chris Cross is made from a combination of Reynolds 853 tubing and Columbus steel, with a lovingly crafted frame that is designed and welded in the US. It’ll take up to a 700x40c tyre, though it’s also ready to accommodate proper off-road riding with room for 27.5×2.1in mountain bike tyres.

It would appear that versatility is the name of the game with the new Chris Cross frame, with the ability to fit 1x or 2x drivetrains, skinny 700c tyres or fat 27.5in tyres, mudguards and multiple water bottles. It’s also the idea candidate for some lightweight bikepacking bags for those who are scoping out a multi-day adventure.

The Chris Cross is built from a combination of Reynolds 853 and Colombus steel tubing, and features a gorgeous tapered head tube that accommodates external cups to keep it clean and traditional.

The Chris Cross frame can be had with your choice of four different forks, including ENVE, Ritchey CX, TRP, and Yo Eddy steel fork options. All are colour-matched in the same factory that builds and welds the steel mainframe.
