Specialized have expanded their Adventure Travel range, with a new bike and a full range of luggage.
First things first, here’s the rather handsome looking Sequoia. It’s a chromoly steel frame, with carbon fork and comes in ‘Expert’ (£2500), ‘Elite’ (£1500) and plain old vanilla – which has a steel fork (£950) packages to suit your wallet. All come equipped with rack and guard mounts, as you would expect, and extra bottle bosses on the fork legs. There are some extra neat touches like internal routing for light cables on the frame and forks of all models.
Not content with just bring out a bike to explore on, Specialized have now got a full range of bikepacking-style luggage to kit it out with – from bar rolls to frame bags and saddle bags. The ‘Burra Burra’ range of gear looks to be sturdy, with clamp-on style attachment points. It’ll be interesting to test them against some of the established competition.
