The thick of cyclocross season is still several weeks away, but summer ‘cross is about to start in London.
21 July sees the first round of the London 2016 Cyclocross Summer Series, which takes part in Addington Park. With the blessing of British Cycling, the cycling collective known as 5th Floor is promoting the series. The four rounds of the series take place over the next four weeks in and around London.
- Round 1 – 21 July – Addington Park
Round 2 – 28 July – Hog HillCANCELLED- Round 3 – 4 August – Morden Park
- Round 4 – 11 August – Herne Hill Velodrome
To sweeten the pot, as well as to help support and promote the event, Kinesis is throwing down a fancy frameset as a prize for series winners.
When we at Kinesis knew that the heritage event series that is the London Summer Cyclocross league summer series would be promoted by a tenacious and exciting group of new age cyclocross riders, we knew we had to get involved. As part of our commitment to supporting UK cyclocross, we are providing the winners of the series for senior men and women with a 5T Disc frameset in their size and colour of choice! So they can ride an awesome frame this winter.
The race schedule for each round is as follows:
17.30 – Registration opens
18.15 – Racing commences
18.15 – Under 12 Boys / Under 12 Girls
18.30 – Youths Boys, Youth Girls
19.00 – Junior boys, Junior girls, Senior Men, Senior Women, Vet Men, Vet Women
20.00 – Series prize presentations (Round 4 – Herne Hill only)
20.30 – Stalls close
