These American Classic TCX Tubeless Disc wheels have arrived, and are on test over the next couple of months. Initial thoughts are that they are for BIG boys in the tyre world. With a full 26mm width (just over 21mm internal), the rims are basically a MTB tubeless width. I’m intrigued about how they will ride on the standard cyclocross tubless offering, which is optimised for a slightly narrower tyre. I plan to ride them at different pressures and push them to ‘belching’ types of pressure with the WTB Crosswolf clincher tyre (tested in issue 002) and see what comes out of the mix.
