Received: Kask helmets

More regularly seen, and indeed launched to the public atop the noggins of Team Sky, these two helmets from Kask are designed to not only protect your brain, but do so while either keeping it very cool or very slippery (to the surrounding air)
Kask1
The blue Protone will set you back £220 and whilst it majors on cooling, Kask do claim it very good aerodynamically too, having been developed with Sir Bradley in the wind tunnel. The £195 white and green Infinity boasts an adjustable flap to open or close the access to the cooling vents and internal channeling. Open, it vents as normal, closed, it guides airflow over the helmet – and keeps the head warmer in inclement conditions (ideal for the winter rider).
Both feature Kask’s leather chinstrap for minimising irritation and super adjustable retention devices.
We’ll be putting both through their paces in the coming months so watch this space for Ridden and Rated reviews on this Italian head wear.
