These Yale Wireless Shed Alarms, are they any use in a car/van?
Would there be a problem with it going off everytime a cloud goes over, or a gust of wind?
Id like something like this so someone will hear if the car gets broken into when Im out riding

It will work – they work on IR. I had an infra red remote one for the garage.

They are blooming loud – but most folk ignore alarms. It might just stop someone poking about in the car/van for long due to ringing ears.

I assume the car/van doesn’t have one ? Usual advice of not having any valuables in the car applies.

Wouldn’t that just go off (in a car) if someone walked past?  Might work in the back of a van with no windows I guess.

if its like the camera I have, shadows will set it off. Or mice, moths etc
If I bought one and put it in the shed with windows, and it goes off, then Id have to return it as its useless

… and then they’ll totally ignore it, complaining “there’s a bloody faulty car alarm going off again.”
