It seams to be popular to size bikes as S M L these days. Does anyone know how big a Large Whyte hardtail is in good old in or cm? Cheers

Hmmm, I'm 6'4". I had a magnesium 19" frame that felt great until it corroded!

Have a look on the downloads section on the Whyte web site. Most of the info is there including standover height. There is a contradiction though on the figures for the Ti standover heights which appear to be different from the alloy version. The geometry tab for each individual bike though shows them being the same. Interestingly enough both the Ti and alloy 19 are apparently the same weight.

Cheers, I don't think there is a contradiction. The alloy frames have gusset by the seat clamp which makes the top tube lower. The 610mm/24' top tube is longer than my current hardtail frame so it might still be worth a look. I've already got a 420mm seatpost that would fit!

Sorry it's the pdf brochure which has the contradictory info. It has the Ti small standover as higher than the alloy one. it's right everywhere else on the site. I'd be interested to here from anyone who's ridden both the ti and the alloy and what the differences are.
