Not sure about that...Think Shredder's Scott could easily be described as bike porn.

Go on then. Any excuse.
Its not quite finished yet I've got some white rims and a white saddle to go on it and I am still waiting for the stickers plus I dont have those forks anymore.

[img] [/img]

[img] [/img]

I think its saweet anyway. Much better than my hardtail efforts.

I think Mama's is the sweetest, because its tiny, and has colour co-ordinated orange bits on the forks.

Mind, she'll probably have something new, next week...

Actually I was reading a bikeradar blog yesterday about form versus function in mtb's. I'd (honestly) now prefer a frame that rides the best but doesnt look the prettiest.

Exactly what a lot of people say about the 575.
I beg to differ on the looks though, which is why I bought one.

Im quite liking my silly very small short travel play / jump bike thing at the moment. Kinda like a Full sus BMX as im 6foot odd:-

[IMG] [/IMG]

The FXR 4X will be pretty sweet when i put the Dorado SC's back on it, and the Flys still pretty sweet though its looking a little beat up now and could do with some TLC (pic's a bit crap mind)

Used to have that, but was too small for me. [img] [/img]

Than bought a frame and swapped bits onto that:
[img] [/img]

And then finally admitted to myself I dont need a full susser for my xc riding, and went back to hardtails. I love my Maxlight now but Trek made me soo much quicker on descents, but if I would be racing myself Trek vs Kinesis, up the hill Trek would be waaaaay back.

Do I need to? The 575 is brilliant on the downs, brilliant on the ups. Gives me a big happy feeling whenever I ride it. Looks the business too, like no other bike out there.
You can pick up the old style ones cheap as chips now too.
What else you wanna know?

Honourable mentions to the Turner and Cove and that weird stealth black Liteville (?) thingamy

Has a stand also.
I ride with it out all the time.
Means I don't have to unclip from my spuds when I stop.
Impressive eh...

bomberman,

the heckler rides sweet with the lyrics
i have only ridden it all day (i tend to ride my hardtail mostly in the uk) in the alps (using uplifts) and once when doing the beast at coed y brenin and it was awesome and a great improvement on the mavericks that were originally on her

lhafty....301.. that's what almost half the people i ride with ride.

sometimes ride with the guy who designs and takes out the prototypes, jan. did you import it yourself or is there now an importer in england? where did you find out about them?

could tell you that the new 301's might have a little more sus and oversized tubes. then again, they might not. it's only a prototype.

takisawa.........brilliant. even the girlfriend thought it funny.

That Trek 88 does look extraordinarily nice for a downhill bike.
There's no point in me owning a dh bike, but still find myself wanting one!

(I'm so glad everyone has ignored those 2 idiot postings, except me, er, please ignore me also)
