Please avoid publically shifting the focus just because the main playground is being spoilt by a rightfully annoyed landowner. The owners and managers of the stuff over where you’re thinking are going to get far more annoyed if hordes start turning up and worse start digging. The latter has already resulted in a number of warnings about police involvement. It’s a precious area to the likes of Nat Trust and others plus an army of walkers. Riding natural trails with natural features can be tolerated by some, but not the industrial scale of riding and digging of Peaslake.
At the very least, don’t post routes publically.
That said, it is nice there 😉 , but yes in the wet it’s nasty.
