Usually mine get 250 views or so. This just one has got 17k views since 6am today and now over 137k views! How does this even happen????

If you click on any video post, it'll expand to the 'reels' format and scrolling from there will serve you endless new videos based on the videos you've watched the posters you follow and random shit that's popular. If your video has been watched by some of your followers and gets added to reels that they're watching, then it'll become part of the reel for anyone with even just a remote passing interest in bicycles, mechanics, fixing things, location, etc etc.
and your watch count will go through the roof.

I think Instagram occasionally promotes reels which massively ups the numbers of views. I usually get 400 to 500 views but sometimes it gets to 5000+ N

On youTube I have 27 episodes of me butchering a 911 and I have less than 400 follows and average about 3-400 views. I post 1 clip of some people dancing in the street and get 75,000.
