This is a pretty gripping race, can still go almost any way. Impressed that Cancellera acceleration closed the gap so quickly.

Sky looking good in terms of pure numbers in the front group as well.

Sky now have 2 in the front group, 2 in the Cancellara/Sagan group. Not a bad situation really.

It was planned. Sky no longer have to take responsibility in the front group, and the 2 in the second group can sit on and act as anchors on C/S.

I dunno, Vanmarcke had a good go then. I think Stannard is in a bit of trouble, he hadn’t had enough recovery from that first big effort.

Higgs Boson has a sprint in those legs. Not sure Stannard has.
