I’m looking for some cheap maps for my Garmin, for road and offroad use.

Whats best and not silly money?

Talkytoaster maps look a bit like OS maps and are free (based on Open street map)

    Or for actual OS mapping:

These are Garmin maps, come in a Garmin packet and are cheap. It’s up to you to decide if you think they are legit. I’ve got some and they worked straight of the box. You can find the same maps free online, whether its worth the hassle/virus risk/time is up to you. 😉

I’ve just purchased an 800. I’m going to give some of the free maps a go before I pull the trigger on the £££ maps. I found this site. It has some good info.

I’m going to follow a new course tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes.
