Need to get some new grips - for the past 15 years or so I've run ODI Yeti lockons. I like these as they're relatively compliant and I have some hand issues that mean I need a softish grip. Any suggestions of other alternatives or similar diameter?

I think this thread may hold a few suggestions.

ODI longneck - not the lockon version - best grips in the world.

Sensus EMJ if you want slightly thicker, they're push on which I consider a positive because you get more squishy padding. I absolutely love them.

I've got these on a couple of my bikes now. Much cheapness and almost as good as the old ODI Tomac/Attack (which are actually still available). Brand X Mushroom

How big are your hands? I've got hands like a baboon so like nice chunky grips and always go for Lizard Skins Northshore. I recently tried some Race Face lock ons and they just weren't fat enough so they lasted about a week before another set of these went on

I’ve got longneck (lock ons) on one bike and those brand x ones on another. It’s worth paying the extra for the longnecks.

I’ve got DMR Deathgrips, they’re alright, but I’m not sure I’ll get them again. The Burgtec Bartenders look decent. My Dadcountry bike has Gusset Files on it (£3.95 from Gusset website at the mo) which are comfy but push on.

I'm on Burgtecs now after running Spank Spikes for years.

They were really comfy & come in 30mm or 33mm diameters.

Only changed because all the other kit on my bike is Burgtec.

My Dadcountry bike has Gusset Files on

Is this a new class of bike I'm unaware of, or just a more realistic description of the type of riding most of us actually do?

I have dupuytren's contracture and relatively big hands, so need much squish

I find ESI Extra Chunky are just big enough, but Wolf Tooth Fat Paw are my go too. They are truly massive

ESI silicone foam is my preference, in a thickness and profile of your choice.
I suspect knock-offs are almost as good.

I've always wondered how primates sort they nails out, does they bite them or file them down on a rock.😀

@Onzadog, it was a tongue in cheek title from a NSMB article about dad’s getting/going back to jump/pumptrack bikes to ride with their young kids

Oneup have new grips available, thick grip lovers might appreciate the variable 35mm version. They've got my attention.
