[Closed] website to send a text message to a mobile?...

I'm out of the UK at the moment and I need to get hold of a mate. Problem is he never uses the net so email is no use. He always has his phone though so I thought someone here may have experience of this and could show me a decent site to use?

i'd use skype for doing this if i didn't have my mobile on me but i always have my mobile on me

+1 Skype. Can't beat it. although you will have to put some credit on your account.

If your mobile is on O2 you can register with their website and get 10 free texts a month, to any UK network.

VOIPSTUNT is even cheaper than Skype. I regularly ring a landline from Spain to Australia for free whereas Skype charges.
