We shall be looking forward to this, this Christmas!
BBC article here - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cd11kj0d97jo
I believe that there's going to be a new Wallace & Gromit sculpture trail around Bristol next year too!
The whole Saxon family will be watching!
Absolutely brilliant!!!
Cannot wait for the return of 'Feathers'
That dark, menacing look of the penguin as it just stands there, silent, always used to crack me up.
Who voices Wallace now?
Ben Whitehead
And some crackin' toast too.
New clip
Great news

Looks like it'll be on BBC1 on Christmas Day (and Netflix later). There's not much new in the new trailer but a fair amount of information in the BBC article - https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2024/wallace-and-gromit-trailer-christmas-release-date/

There is indeed, it was announced on BBC News this evening, and there will be Feathers sculptures, and they ‘unboxed’ a Norbot sculpture as well.
Will definitely be watching. MrsDoris was a modelmaker on an Aardman film a few years back - knowing some of the processes behind it all I enjoy them even more now.
Knowing that's going to be on has made my Christmas. Is it definitely going to be on Beeb1 on Christmas Day?
I do hope so. It'll just be me and the wife with Wallace & Gromit, what more could I ask for?
W&G idents throughout December!

Re: the W&G idents, I’ve seen two so far, and they’re just as good as you’d expect.
Bloody brilliant, the whole family (4-67) enjoyed that
Absolutely brilliant!
The only thing I was hoping to do today...and I didn't get to! Will get it on iPlayer but that is playing up so won't be tonight. Glad to hear it was brilliant.
Nice.
I got Shawshank, Great Escape, The Matrix, Alien and Goldfinger references - what did I miss?
Very very good. So many nods to other movies, you missed The Italian Job

I reckon there was a nod to Shaun Of The Dead in there too.
Best bit for me was Gromit's little 4th wall breaking glance when Wallace told him Norbot was voice activated.
An absolute delight overall. Way better written and constructed than most blockbusters.
Canal boat scene has references to The African Queen.

Same here, 18-55, everyone had their phone down, calling out film references and some of the written visual gags. Suspect like the other films the more you watch it the more you spot.
I loved it too. Doesn't get better than that. I thought there was definitely Cybermen references as well. It's something when W&G is more scary than Dr who.
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.
Internal menu was Terminator, surely?
brilliant, 3 generations of the family sat down and watched and laughed together
which doesn't happen often
Most enjoyable, best thing on telly for yonks. Off to bed now to read Mint Sauce. A most excellent day.
Just caught it on iPlayer while the others are at the MIL watching Gavin and Stacey, absolutely tremendous again. Ben Whitehead has Peter Sallis voice done to a tee.
Me and my mum loved it. My dad loved the bits he was awake for - being post-Christmas dinner he was snoring in his chair not long after the intro...
Classy... Some great references....
My sister works for Aardman and is in the credits. She’ll be chuffed when she reads comments like all of yours!
Merry Christmas everyone!
The cut to Anton Deck was brilliant.
‘Cone Brothers’ on the back of the Highways truck, which made me laugh. I recorded it, just in case, but watched it live - I’ll be watching it again before too long, with a forensic level of intensity!
As others have said watched with family and recorded as well. I spotted WG40 on a Blue and Yellow can on a shelf for one , definitely one to watch again. Like Creature Comforts so much going on in the background as well .The attention to detail is amazing and it's reassuring that with all the OTT CGI around something as labour intensive and quintessentially British is still being made and appreciated . Hats off to everyone at Aardman
I just didn’t enjoy it.
Yes lots of nods to everything under the sun, but the story itself was a bit thin
