[Closed] Using own router with sky broadband

Heloo, having trouble with sky internet at the moment, engineer coming out on Monday, but after a week with no internet at home its very frustrating. Ive got an older Linksys router, wag354g model and wondering if this would be ok to use instead of the supplied one. Reason being is that they keep saying ours is knackered and trying to sell us one for £70!! **** off I said to that... Anyway, want to test this Linksys but don't know how to. Any ideas on setup mucho appreciated, cheers.
