Trying to work up the fitness to do this without being really knackered for the descent, and looking for some inspiration. Is that video by the two guides that caused a bit of bother still online anywhere? Or anyone else got a decent quality video? Can’t find one at the moment. Ta.

I should be ok I suppose – I did 30k/800 odd metres of climbing the other weekend and I wasn’t too bad. I just remember doing Ben Lomond which is one big ride/push/carry in one go and I didn’t enjoy the descent as much as I could have done due to being so knackered. Still ace fun though.

JY – will do. I want to do it on a nice day though which limits my options quite a lot!
