    there is a faint possibility i may soon be in the market for a new mtb, the 1st in 5 years.
    what is good in tough long forked 29ers nowadays?

    My Gryphon might be the kind on thing you’d like. On-road, off-road, bit of touring, commuter too if you want.
    Getting the build right is key.

    I did indeed, but I sold it a while back….I thought I was gonna be stuck without the need for a mtb.
    it seems there is a possibility that I may need one again.
    a strong 29er would be perfect, something I can do a bit of offroad on, or stick a rack and some slicks on, to tour with.

    surly ogre looks good, on one 29r looks good vfm too.
    everything seems to have shot up in price in the last 4 years….. 😯

    Looking for a treking bike myself, how would a Fortitude Race compare with an Inbred 29er – prefer the Genesis on paper but Inbred is cheap at the mo & does allow for double chainring
