Nothing exciting, just need a favour before I press the buy button on a standard 1 1/8 threadless headset.
I want to be sure my steerer tube on my fork is long enough before I order, so can you lovely people take a couple of measurements for me?
What I'm after is the overall height of your fitted headset, bottom to top of cups, also the length of your head tube.

Suggests the stack height is 28mm for the new style ones. So your steerer length would be heat tube length+stack height + spacers + enough for your stem.
They're a great buy, have one, it's 12 years old, on it's second frame and never needed any service - grease still as new.
They give a lot of dimensions, but not stack height for some reason.
Call hope or go to a shop and check (then buy it there)

Surely then the course of action is to go ask them, they find out for you and order? After all, the point of the LBS is to get service!
