For me Madison Flux Lite waterproof jacket . It’s light and can fit into a Camelbak , it’s waterproof and breathes well , it’s nearly perfect , but why oh why did they make it with a hood that you can’t remove , it doesn’t have anything to roll it up and tie it down with and if you try to pack it down your back and inside the rest of the jacket it is guaranteed to burst out at some point in the ride and become like a sail flapping around behind you . I was considering trying to cut it off but there is no obvious seam to follow and I expect that I would balls it up . Who wears a hood over their helmet anyway . I also have a Flux softshell which has a hood but because it is made with heavier fabric it doesn’t cause the same problems .
