  • Theres a fox in my garden what am I gonna do?

Past couple of weeks weve had a fox coming into the garden in the middle of the night and laying a nice big Mr Whippie outside the shed door at the side of the house. Its a pain coz thats where my bikes are and clearing up a big sloppy dollop of cable before getting me bike out is getting me down.

Ive tried putting chilli powder down as recommended but as soon as it rains theres a fresh new dollop waiting for me. Has anyone had a fox problem and managed to sort it?

    Advice, thoughts welcome.

Clean the area thoroughly to get rid of his markings, then put outdoors anti-cat stuff down. If that fails, you ‘ll have to pee there every evening to mark it as your territory.
    You’re not ginger, are you?

Get a horse, a pack of hounds and some marginally daft clothing.

Not seen any cubs, not seen the fox either but next door has, it was also crapping outside their back door but has now settled for outside my shed.

I quite like foxes its just all the poo getting me down, really sloppy it is.

Find out what next-door did to move it on to you, and do that! At the end of the day, it’s just wild animal poo, not the end of the world.

Not a fox then. Foxes do little small dollops to mark their territory, in the same way dogs just do a squirt of pee when cocking a leg. If they left dirty great big steaming turds they’d soon run out of shit. And that wouldn’t be any good to them. Maybe it’s your neighbour ?

No, it’s not his neighbour, it’s me.

Foxes are in fact gorgeous, you’re lucky, film it , take photos.

If you have poultry, livestock anything that lives and breathes on your property, kill it , stamp it out erase it from existance.

    Otherwise, leave it alone………….

Used spray repellent product (B&Q purchase) can`t remember brand.
Anyway it either worked or the fox moved on so result.
