Sorry another bastid light thread………….. you know you love it.
Well I used mine last night and am impressed.
It has however a light green tinge as others have commented.
Below are a few pictures for folks to have a look at, I was going to do some beam shots but they did not come out well on my phone camera, I'll have another go tonight.
A view of the box along with the adapter I bought from ASDA for 75p.
The battery comes with a pouch but needs more waterproofing, I'll try a small freezer bag.
On the bike all looks and feels well, the mounting is good and enough velcro and pouch to go around the stem.
It feels a little strange as I am used to an Exposure light that has no cables and what have you.
Under the stem once it has been secured I fed the two exposed loops between each other as has been suggested.
My view is that it will make a great helmet light (am now looking for mounts), I put it up against my 06-07 Exposure Turbo and the optics are no comparison.
The Exposure does so much more with the available light, mind you it cost £250.00 more !!
Its very very good for the money but has limitations
Now I am just waiting for a my Trout 2000 lm light to arrive to give me instant daylight.
Can't see them. Upload them on tinypic.com and paste their 'forum link' here.
How much did you pay for the light and where you buy from? I've not paid enough attention to light threads in the past obviously!
It's weirder than that. If you copy the image address and go to it in a new tab then it goes fine. Once done you can refresh the page and the image will have appeared. Never seen that before. One for the cleverer than me people I think.
Cool can see them by following the link. The battery bag doesn't look good, do you reckon a little neoprene camera bag would work to protect the battery?
