    I have it at the moment – was diagnosed today.

    I feel generally run down and its like a mild cold – nothing like the normal flu I got at xmas which made me want to curl up and die on several occasions

    sounds like a mild cold then.

    Thanks for all of your advice people.
    Of course I have spoken to the wife about this, its been the main topic the last few weeks. Both of us are not over the moon about me going.
    What I really wanted to hear was if we were being totally norotic or not over this.
    We have still not made the decision, but need to soon.

    You need to do your duty with your wife, to encourage the baby to come earlier. She then needs to have a difficult labour or problems breast feeding, so that they keep her in for a few days. Then while all that is happening you go to your sisters wedding.

    Swine flu is nothing to worry about.
