    I’d be up for a meet. Its my local riding spot and it’d be nice to not have to travel too far to put names to faces.

    Sounds good to me, had never heard of the place before that thread, same distance as Dalby so make a nice change.

    Could be up for that as I’ve never ridden there before despite only living down the road in Derby! 🙂

    Not having been there, is this the cafe’s location?:

    (taken from the FC site). It’s also says on there;

    CLOSING TIME 6PM THE FOREST PARK WILL BE HOSTING CAR RALLIES ON THE FOLLOWING DATES IN 2009 14TH MARCH 13TH JUNE 21ST NOVEMBER.THE CYCLE TRAILS WILL BE CLOSED ON THIS DAY AND ACCESS IS LIMITED TO THE SPECTATOR AREAS

    …hope that doesn’t affect things?! 🙂

    if you look at the map in the above thread the cafe is about 100m to the left of the cycle shop. So on the day park up and from the carpark if the shop is directly opposite then the cafe is to the right 100m away just past toilets. Just follow the hoards of stw crew

    my advice is wait for it to dry out it’s very muddy indeed. I went on sunday and it was drying nicely. 1 days rain on tuesday followed by 2 days without rain went back today and its proper muddy. I think it needs a week without rain to make it worth while.

    Was good Monday really dry, was worried about Wed night after the bad weather on Tuesday but trails were still mostly ok just some standing water in places.

    Still on for the 14th then!?
