Is there anyway through settings or an extra plug in that I can see if a person is in my address book from my Inbox.

Say like a little tick next to them that just shows I have them in my conatcts.??

Don’t think so. I just chose “Add to Contacts” on someone’s name in the preview pane. So now they’re in my contacts.
Go back to the message, right-click the name again, still says Add to Contacts. Outlook is dumb.
Maybe version 2010, mine is 2007

I can’t test this at work because it’s tied down a bit tight but I suspect you can add a contact with a display name, so if you get an email from Bill Bobbins, add him to your contact list as say , Bill Bobbins (Contact) in the display name and then he will appear like that in your inbox.

No, didn’t work for external contacts either.

This program might do it but it’s not free.
