On my regular training ride today Strava clocked me riding 3 laps of Richmond Park at over 100kmh – I’m good but not that good. It also said I’d gone clockwise when I didn’t. Anyone else had issues (uploaded from Garmin 800 with no previous issues)?

Not with a Garmin but I recently switched from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy and my usual 6 mile run calculated itself at 22 miles the other week. 22 miles in 42 minutes! I was tempted to leave it but have since deleted it because I didn’t want every trail runner in the area killing themselves to try and beat my segments!

I’m spending parts of recent rides at around 44m or more below sea level according to my Garmin 500..

Yunki your barometric ports likely blocked. Turn unit over and look for the holes

Set the elevation of your start point, then when you hit the start button the elevation will be calibrated.

Strava seems to get very confused by laps of richmond park.

More importantly, I turned myself inside out last time I was there and you’re still faster than me. Sulks. 🙁
