There seems to be a lot of decent gear going missing recently its almost at epedemic levels but the question is who's buying this stuff?

Spend the weekend at an easily accesible trail centre close to major urban carnubations in the North West and you'll see a fair few people on bikes that don't seem to fit their style of attire and attitude......

I'm sure you get what I mean, someone on 3k mtb would normally be in Endura etc not JJB trackies.

the question is who's buying this stuff?

Potentially, anyone who buys something without being shown the original proof of purchase.

Scumbag #1 steals bike stuff, sells it for next to nothing to scumbag #2.

Scumbag #2 has access to ebay and manufacturers website, so sells the stolen stuff @ 'normal' used ebay prices.

So anyone, even a well-meaning STW regular could end up buying it.

Well if anyone sees a scumbag #1,#2 or any other number for that matter riding round the North West on my stolen Silver Anodised Santa Cruz Heckler, with the frame number 00581. Please let me know.

I have a good few grands worth of bikes & often ride in a football top [from JJB]

you need to re-think your well honed stereotype meter genesis

It's probably the council house kids eh genesis?
