Ok so it's time to replace my worn out XX1 chan ring.
Instead of buying a like for like replacement I'm thinking of going to a direct mount ring.

Am I correct in thinking this will fit my XX1 cranks, and all I have to do is remove the spider.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure you get the right offset. GXP and BB30 cranks need rings specific to their offset. But yes, as long as the offset is correct, that Raceface one will work fine. Though IMO Raceface rings aren't the hardiest or longest lasting.

Absolute Black all the way; as above, make sure you get the right version (GXP vs BB30):

I got an Absolute Black oval, been good so far. Lighter and cheaper than the stock one.

Found them to be quieter than the sram rings. The only downside to direct mount is you have to take the cranks off to change the chainring (not a problem if you don't ever swap rings)

If you're after a bit more durability but don't want to pay for Ti then Gamut hard anodize their SRAM rings.
