I’ll have a few hours free in the Steyning area on Friday. I’ll make up a route in Basecamp, are there any areas which should be avoided this time of year and is there anywhere I should go?

    Thanks.

There are some proper built trails in stening. Do a search for where they are. Despite being super local for years i’ve not been yet!  So slack. It’s pretty greasy in the wet by all accounts. You can do an xc ride but that would be boring

Like he^ says Jimbo know the trails inside out, maybe see if you can get an add to the Sussex MTB Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/144157972618070/ and ask there

We were out Saturday and there is plenty of mud but the Steyning downhill stuff and surrounding rooty fun was running well. Depends what you are after though
