Not Ti but I love it all the same. Now wearing a lot more mud and high-rollers.

    Thanks.

Yup – it just lept out of a sea of oversized hydroformed aluminium and looked like a “proper bike” to me. Steel is real! 😀

Thurman Merman you should keep it.there will be a time when you will want to ride it (as from the tone of your description on e bay).

after a bit of a think, have decided instead to p/x my bike for one of these instead (if i can get one in my size still) i reckon it will be fantastic/it looks fab 😀 am remembering my old marin eldridge grade bike 1992 vintage that was made out of tange prestige tubing (awesome bike it was) to be honest this wouldn’t be that much different to the titanium one to ride,i think.also could afford this a lot easier (with p/xing my anthem x2.i know it sounds mad,but really do not need f/s for where i ride/cheaper to service).is a fantastic bike though. will write back later today to say weather i could get one (if a small one is still available)

I found it to be a jack of all trades and a master of none in my hands and maybe thats more of a comment on my riding style than the bike, but, i just did’nt got on with it.
Great bike for just wizzing around the local woods.

I ran it with home bodged forks that ran at 120mm.

some great bikes there everyone 😀 well have just got back.unfortunately won’t know whether i can get one until next thursday,as the shop i am p/x’ing my bike with isn’t an official charge dealer (they can get them through a distributer that deals with charge bikes if that made any sense ❓ anyhoo if they cannot, then i will order a 2012 titanium frame as originally planned.right i’ll shut up now 😉

robdeanhove that is awesome 😀 how did you get your frame like that (a hell of a lot of elbow grease no doubt 😉 how did you protect it from rust.apologies for asking questions, but that really is stunning 😀 edit just clicked onto your link.you sir have my admiration and respect.i remember reading about one of your endurance events in an m.b.u.k issue (i recently did the erlestoke 12 hour slow team event and was crap/very unfit only managed 3 laps 😳 good luck for your next endurance event that you do 🙂

    Cheers raceface90, you’re too kind 😳

The frame finish is a cheat, it’s a one-off with a Chrome finish, given to me by the nice guys at Charge for winning Set2Rise 12hr (now Erlestoke 12) solo last year. Unfortunately I was injured this year so couldn’t go back or you may have been able to see the bike a few weeks ago!

    Enjoy your new bike 😀
