It was shot in the north of Spain, in the Basque Country. Lots of other places in Spain to ride, quite different to where we are. I’m based here and offer holiday here so of course I’d say there are no better places to ride 😉

What cameras are people using on their videos?

I use a Contour HD 1080 but not put vids up yet

I’ve used a Lumix GF1. The headcam is Ed’s GoPro HD and in his video we switched between my GF1 and his GF2.

I know SKY only use 720 HD

Switchbacks is based in both Bubion in the Sierra Nevada, and just outside Malaga. Amazing trails in both places, and Mike and the guides are always really good fun to ride with.

Spain looks excellent

Spain is massively excellent. So easy to get to, and such good riding.

I believe the Go pro 1080 is the only one you can add bacpacs to – i.e. lcd screen or extra battery

also, those vids were filmed at 720 @ 60fps
