Most people say they come up small. My experience is they are very narrow. I went up a size, still a bit narrow, but with a bit of room in the toe.

Basically they don’t fit me well.

Up until about 6 months ago, I would have said this was internet bobbins…. but having had a go with several other brands in that time I realise I’ve probably been riding in (Shimano) shoes too narrow for me for quite some time without realising/admitting it to myself. 😳

Depends on the shoe IME. They all come up a bit “short” in the toe box, but they’re not all narrow. The “AM” style shoes are fine width wise, the racier ones can be a bit on the narrow side, as can the winter boots.

    IME of course 🙂

I always go a (European) size up in Shimano shoes.

A lot of their shoes come in a standard or wide fit, the wide fit has an ‘E’ at the end of the product code.

I go up a size. I’m a 43 in regular shoes, but I need a 44 in Shimano (and Specialized for that matter).
