    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience running a Shimano 11-speed cassette with a SRAM 11-speed derailleur?

    Cheers

No problem, rode a MTB on Sunday with XTR 11 speed shifter, rear mech and new single ring chainset with SRAM 11 speed cassette with 42 tooth large rear cog. 8)

I’m running it the other way round on 2 bikes no problem, so presumably yes.

Ok, and it runs as smoothly as a matching cassette?

Another one on Shimano mech with SRAM cassette, no issues.

Strikes me as odd that you’d want to do it the other way round though

Can’t get an XD driver body for my wheels, and don’t really want to splash out for a new hub, so Shimano cassette is the only option. But, I like the look of SRAM GX, so was just wondering if it would work.

XTR shifter & mech on a Sram cassette. All good.

I currently run an XO1 groupset, but have a spare Shimano driver for my Hope hubs. So, as and when my uber expensive SRAM cassette wears out, I’m hoping I can swap the hubs and bung a new XT 11sp cassette on.
