Having said that, I was a scanner-operator in a previous life, and I recon I must have scanned ten-fifteen thousand pics over five years or so. *sigh*, I miss that job…

Found some good piccies from the past though! They may yet appear here in an ‘identify this aeroplane / car / flower’ stylee…

Minds me of buying a high-res film scanner, and scanning in hundreds of slides and negs. Using an old G3 450MHz iMac, each 5,400 dpi scan took **** ages. I don’t envy you.

Well, that’s 1.5 photo albums scanned!

Then there’s 30 years of my father’s slides to go…!
