I’m in Church admiring the designs and seeing Jesus statue-beautifully designed but white as snow???

Ok I got dragged to a Christening and bored as… hell?

Wasn’t he slightly tanned Jewish guy that looked like Saddam?

I’m talking about the original one-not the any of the recent claimers as the son of God in America…

He was bit short too and not bullet proof. 😈

Ha ha! (green bike favorite colour theif!)

Seriously I think it’s a good question to ask we make him to be glorified figure with 80’s rock mullet white hippy.

When he was an ordinary man of normal looks of that area-who are in the Israel area?

I never said he did or didn’t exist.

Just wondering as the people there look brownish so why are the statues white as snow and 6ft4 when he was short?

Well My butcher is called Jesús and he is a sort of yellow grey. With grey hair and specks of black. He also has a bit of a comb over when he make an effort to tidy up.

Ok so how come so many believe in him but hate non-whites?

Actually I’m barely hanging on and better stick to bike chat.

I noticed an Indian ‘Faith’ also ‘brightening up the skin colour’ too.

Ok stop…well at least Hindus used Blue for Krishna…

And regarding the green-Kona 2010 may come out with Green Explosive Cro-mo…until then post pics of the build and enjoy FoxyChick.

I was expecting a serious reply instead of jokes to be honest!

But it’s still huge topic of debate.

Okay and what about the prophet Muhammad then? What was he like? Care to contribute?

I think the Prophet Mohammed was dark skinned living in around Mecca tyger.

Could also say why was Krishna Blue in Hinduism?

The only thing you need to know is that Jesus loves you. And even though he’s a man, I’ve heard he’s a gentle lover.

Hey I agree with his values and equality for all.

Just wondering why he is depicted as snow white. If he was white then fine, or black or blue etc.

I still think it’s valid question as I’m not saying he didn’t exist.

Also with cloning technology they could find out what he looked like etc-huge ethical debate!

You see it’s so easy to take the rip out of Jesus but somehow I doubt the same will be dished out about the prophet Muhammad.

Or will I be proved wrong?

Personally I feel respect should be being shown but I guess that’s because I’m a little old fashioned when it comes to things like that.

I would take the pee out of the Proph-Mo, but I’ve not seen any pictures of the fella.

I think we should respect everyones views and opionions-which should be seen or heard without causing hatred etc.

Like I said he is depicted as white but wasn’t white. That’s investigation, not a pee take.

The Prophet Mohammed and interpretations and any other religion have a lot to answer for.

If we are to follow any religion we should know it inside out-the people who say death to you for insulting Islam need to relax and be prepared for sensible Q & A’s if we are to learn from them?

Maybe the forum is not the best place.

I’m going to a church 2morro around the corner then ask other leaders of other faiths how they fit in the modern world and I am going to ask for an interview for an opinion.

Might film or ask the Uni radio discussion team to come along. Non profit making btw.

    Yes – yes you were

But it’s still huge topic of debate.

Not, perhaps, in a place where people can’t agree on what pedal or brake hose is best.

My merciful God will make me burn in hell for eternity. But he’s not really worth worshipping if he can’t forgive my monkey mind for such disrespect, so **** him!

    tyger

As I understand it Soda, God doesn’t want anyone to burn in Hell which is why Christians believe He sent Jesus to take your place – perhaps your impression of who God is is inaccurate?

Why? What difference does it make?

So I’m not going to Hell then? cool…It’s a bit unfair on Jesus though, he hasn’t sinned anywhere near as much as I have…or has he?

    tyger

Never sinned at all – so why did he take your place?
