  • replacing on-one hub bearings
  • I’m trying to remove the old bearings: once I’ve taken off the outer caps off, do I just “tap” the axle with a mallet? I’ve tried tapping from drive and non-drive side and the axle hasn’t moved so far. Before I move from tap to whack, I wondered if there was something unusual about the hub – for example needing to unscrew the axle?

    thanks

    Which hub?

Hi Brant, it’s the rear Inbred singlespeed hub that was on my 2005 Inbred.

thought I’d resurrect my post for any other advice 🙂
