I'm currently with Aviva, they have quoted me £479 to renew the insurance on my V reg Corsa 😯 Being 31, I think this is a little excessive. I've used comparison sites and the cheapest is Admiral at £300 however, i've heard bad stories about them.
I have full no claims, 10K a year, car worth about £500. Wife and Dad are insured on it as well.
Can anyone suggest any reliable, cheap insurers?
just pick the cheapest - they can all be crap sometimes

Having said that - in the past I have had wild quotes from companies who for watever reason just don't want your business so give a massive quote. No idea why?
For me this year Aviva worked. For others it doesn't?

Over the past 20 years of driving:
We have had awful issues with Churchill - resolved by a small claims court threat = apology, paid out, no effect on NCB and all premiums refunded.
Then swiftcover left my wife stranded with a smashed up car at the side of the road and could not recover an un-drivable car on a Sunday - although they did resolve the claim in reasonable time.
RAC were good a couple of years ago with a my fault claim.
So I chose AXA this year after ace experience when a bike was stolen...and they are trying to shaft me on a claimed incident 250 mile from where I live and proving hopeless at working on my behalf..
