I need to post a set of wheels. Got them ready to go in a wheel box. Do I just take them to the local post office. Any idea on cost? Thanks.

    Yup.

As for cost, weigh them and have a look on the RM price finder. Obviously insurance and tracking will make things more pricey.

parcel2go.com are looooads cheaper than RM/Parcelfarce.

When I’ve posted wheels I add a little extra cardboard between the axles and box, also and fill the gaps with whatever suits. Screwed up newspaper does the job well 🙂

Not 100% sure it’s a bank holiday in Scotland though.

Post office open in Scotland on good Friday so doesn’t look like I’ll struggle at all.

Check out CollectPlus too. It’s cheap and you drop the parcel off with registered local shops so more convenient than finding a PO.
