    Does anyone know how to service the bearings
    on a Planet X super light hub, Getting the freehub body off,axel out etc.

    cassette off.
    take the end cap off ( one grub screw, 2mm or 2.5mm key ). other end slides off IIRC. support the hub and bang the axle out the NDS, then using 12mm allen key in a vice, or with long bar and someone holding the wheel, undo the freehub body.
    new freehub body is the same as the dmr one. look on crc – i put a review up with some details. the bearings are 6000 2rs IIRC. you’ll find these online for about 2 quid or 2.50. use the axle to bang out the other bearing on the hub. the freehub doesn’t come with a bearing IIRC ( but it’s the same as the hub ones ).
