    Anybody able to point me toward a very good seamstress or business in north west area (co Durham) to repair a torn membrane jacket please?
    Not interested in diy.

    If you’ve no luck locally these guys do a lot of business by post. I used to live near their factory and they are well regarded.

    Lancashire Sports Repair (LSR) is great, send off your jacket and they will post back. They replaced a zip on mine and you couldn’t tell it wasn’t original.

    Another vote for Scottish Mountain Gear if you can’t find anything local. They did a cracking job on a Wingnut pack for me a while back.
