How do i remove it?

Can't see how the hell it comes off!!!!

Between the swingarm pivots seems too narrow to get past the welds around the main frame axle.

Help me please!!!!!

I may be missing something as never actually done it..but looking at mine can't you just slide it up the seat tube a few inches and then turn it 90 degrees and slide off?

Check the orange website under "FAQs" and "How do I replace the bearings"

http://www.orangebikes.co.uk/main/techfaqs.php#bearingswap

Hope it helps.

forgot to add - once the bearings are out the swing arm can be removed via the gap created by removing the little insert held in by the swingarm bolt.

Removed bearings and the little insert.....

Still no joy. Looks like its a phone call to Orange tomorrow!

It looks as though the welds are too big, abit smaller and it would just slide through the gap where the little inserts sit.

They got it on so i must be able to get it off!

You use the clamps to remove the bearings: Slacking one clamp off, then hit the swinging arm from that side - it should start to move the opposite bearing. Tighten up and repeat from opposite side. keep repeat until they can slide off. Once the bearings are off you can get the swinging arm off. I've assumed you've removed the shock.

Hope that helps.

Not sure i'm making myself clear....Bearings were removed with no fuss.

I'm trying to get the swingarm free in order to get the whole lot polished.

Nickegg, I feel your pain!!! I presume the bearings are removed? If so a small amount of force at the correct angle will get it past the pivots. Keep trying, it took me an hour or so to work it out, got there in the end!
