As above,

am upping my riding and I am suffering a bit of nipple rub - was 'nice' to start with now its down right sore... apart from a soft bra what can I do?

does chamois cream help anymore than say sudacream?

cheers

paul

Tape over the nipples is the simplest way.
Can't comment on the cream for the pad though.

A base layer worn properly should prevent any nipple rub. By worn properly, I mean worn tight, next to your skin not flapping about like Harry Redknapps face in a hand drier.

Conotrane for arse lard (cheap, ask your chemist). Plasters or tape for nips.

Available cheaply from Tesco's or most other supermarkets... Usually about £2 for a pack of 10. They work wonders if (for some reason!) you have sore nipples! Mine are less sore now...

Chamois cream ftw, it tends to be slippier than sudacream so is easier to get on and reduces chaffing more.

I always found sudo creme just soaked in so to speak. Assos chamois cream always seems to last. Tbh though, decent fitting bibs and a good saddle means I find chamois cream unnecessary except for maybe doing a 24.

With assos shorts I find a bit of talc works better then chamois cream.

I used Udderly for three days on the West Highland Way. It worked. 😀

I've not tried a chamois cream that didn't work, Assos if you are prepared to pay extra for that special minty tingle.

Am I the only one here wondering how you get nipple rub while riding a bike........?
