    745 miles in 10 days and only one short lift on a truck – blimey that would be hard work anywhere but India? Bad roads even worse driving and 30+ Celsius.

    Just “wow” – I feel (even more) inadequate after reading that ;o)

    Amazing indeed. This bit of the story was more more heavily promoted wherever I read it first.
